Holistic Counseling is an approach which helps clients to heal by taking the entire human being and their life experiences into consideration for assessment and treatment purposes. In other words, where traditional counseling methods consider only the psychological ramifications of issues and behaviors; holistic counseling assesses and treats from physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual contexts. We may start by look at a client’s presenting symptoms and current issues and evaluate how the physical world is involved and affected with the goal of facilitating a sense of well-being. We then follow that thread and find where it connects to the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life.

Chad is a certified professional counselor, hypnotist, and master coach practicing in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley area of British Columbia as well as internationally via his online practice. He has a deep and intimate understanding of pain and loss and how it can impact how we see ourselves and how we show up in this world. He has spent over twenty five years studying and teaching the mysteries of meditation, trance state, and breath work. He taught Holistic Counseling and Coaching for five years in Vancouver at the internationally acclaimed Rhodes Wellness College, teaching that the human spirit plays a large role in our healing, and should be appreciated and observed as much as our mental and emotional states.

As a holistic counselor I am curious and non judgmental about my clients in their totality; I take an integrative approach to healing the mind as the work takes us into multiple dimensions of human experience; the physical, the spiritual, the psychological, and emotional. Ultimately, I seek to assist in healing by helping my clients to break free from destructive behaviors and enjoy a new and improved state of wellness. We all deserve a beautiful life.


Hypnosis, is a trance-like state in which you have heightened focus and concentration. When you’re under hypnosis, you usually feel calm and relaxed, and are more open to suggestions. that can be used to help you gain control over undesired behaviors or to help you cope better with anxiety or pain. It’s important to know that although you’re more open to suggestion during hypnosis, you don’t lose control over your behavior.
Hypnosis can be an effective method for coping with stress and anxiety. In particular, hypnosis can reduce stress and anxiety before a medical procedure, or life event
Hypnosis has been studied for other conditions, including:
• Pain control. Hypnosis may help with pain due to burns, cancer, childbirth, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, dental procedures and headaches.
• Behavior change. Hypnosis has been used with great success in the treatment of insomnia, bed-wetting, smoking, and disordered eating.
• Cancer treatment side effects. Hypnosis has been used to ease side effects related to chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
• Mental health conditions. Hypnosis may help treat symptoms of anxiety, phobias and post-traumatic stress.

Hypnosis has proven to be an effective method of gently uncovering the hidden beliefs and concepts that we learned in our early years that may be holding us back. Combined with counseling modalities like cognitive behavioural therapy many clients find themselves freed of these limiting beliefs within a relatively short period of time.
